This 1962 Canadian cent shows a moderate, unabraded die clash on both the obverse and reverse dies. The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when they did clash.

This coin was found by Roger Paulen of Canada.


Part of the oak leaf can be seen clashed into Queen Elizabeth’s chin.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The clash marks left by Queen Elizabeth’s lower jaw line and her throat are seen clashed above the 62 of the date.

The backof Queen Elizabeth’s neck can be seen clashed into a lobe of an oak leaf.
