TDC-50c-1954-01

This “Bugs-Bunny” or “Dracula” die clash is found on the 1954-P Franklin half dollar.

The name, derived from the wing of the eagle being clashed into the lip of Franklin is seen in the image to the left.

Also seen is the partial letter M for UNUM being clashed into the back of Franklin’s head.

The small angular die clash seen below the right wing of the eagle is formed by the field area under Franklin’s nose and his upper lip.

The line through the M of UNUM is created by the back of Franklin’s head.
