While this is considered a typical die clash, it does have the unusual characteristic of the clash being tilted 10°.

The clahed dies are found on this 1982P small date Lincoln cent that show no signs of being abraded.

 

The overlay shows the relative position of the dies when they clashed.

These two pictures show a closer look at the die clash marks. Notice that the clash does reach down into the neck of Lincoln.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Two die markers are the die cracks seen from the left cornice tip and the left corner of the Memorial building roof.
