TDC-1c-1971D-01

This 1971-D Lincoln cent shows an unabraded die clash on the obverse die only. There is a possibility that the reverse die was damaged during the clash and replaced.

The bottom photo in this set shows the relationship of the dies when they clashed.

The first photo shows the clash marks left by the Memorial building base, bay 1 and 2 and the left side cornice.

The second photo shows the marks left by bays 10 and 11 and the top of the roof of the Memorial building on the left side.
