This 1900 Indian head cent shows a faint die clash event. The presence of two lines may indicate that this is a chatter clash (the dies bounced against each other during the strike causing another set of clash marks). This can best be seen by observing the clash line formed by Liberty’s forehead and the field as it passes through the C of CENT. The obverse has a clash mark generated by one of the bottom leaves in the wreath. This coin is in the collection of the author.
