TDC-100c-1971D-02

This Ike dollar from 1971-D shows two clash events that have been abraded . This is well indicated by the dual clash mark seen on Ike’s forehead of the eagle’s talon.

The picture to the left shows the clash mark left by the first U in UNUM.

Further evidence of the two events is shown in the picture to the left. The chin area is clashed twice under the earth.

The top of Ike’s head is seen clashed into the LL of DOLLAR and travels upward to the first crater on the right.

This die can be recognized by the small die dots seen between the D of GOD and the W of WE.

Also seen is a die gouge under the A of STATES.
