This 1988P Lincoln cent has had at least three clash events, resulting in a counter clash being formed. The obverse die has been replaced and parts of the reverse die have been heavily abraded.

At least four clash events can be seen in the image to the left (indicated by white arrows). The counter clashes can be seen as extra tilted (5°) columns in bays 7, 8, 9 and 10. Due to the positioning of these counter clash marks, two different sets (indicated by red and black arrows) may be involved.
