CCL(TI)-1c-1983-05

This 1983(P) Lincoln cent underwent two clash events that were offset from each other. This action resulted in a Type I counterclash being formed. The most predominant counterclash on the obverse can be seen as a second partial outline of the back of Lincoln’s head. Counterclash marks on the reverse are a partial extra column in the third memorial bay and a partial extra roofline below and to the east of the M of UNUM.
