CCL(TI)-1c-1982(LD)-01

This particular 1982 large date Lincoln cent sports a doubled die clash as well as a type 1 counterclash on the reverse.

To the left, on the reverse, the red arrow indicates the counter-clashing of the memorial roof. On the obverse, the green arrow points to the first clashed impression of the memorial roof between the number 1 and Lincoln’s coat. The first impression was clashed back onto the reveres during the send clashed dies event.

Other details include the memorial bays in the fields adjacent to Lincoln. A nice doubled impression of TY from LIBERTY in bays 1 & 2.

This clashed dies was found by Shannon Causey.
