CCL(T1)-50c-1983-02

Below is a listing that sequentially in the life of two 1983 Kennedy half dollar dies falls right behind CCL(T1)-50c-1983-01, a listing that already had three clashes and one nice counter clash. That counter clash had the dies misaligned toward the left side of the eagle. Sometime after that coin was minted, the dies clashed two more times going toward the right side of the eagle leaving two counter clash marks of the eagle’s left wing (the viewer’s right side), on the left side of the eagle is now Kennedy’s nose and slightly below olive leaves. Instead of adding this as a stage of die 01, I have added it a separate listing. It is not clear how many of either counter clash were minted.

Below, the turquoise arrows show instances of a counter clash (outline of eagle’s wings on both sides, Kennedy’s nose, some of the olive leaves). The pink arrows are form the initial counter clash finding showing the outline of the eagle’s wing. The lime green arrows attempt to approximate the clash marks responsible for the counter clash marks.

The illustration at the bottom with white arrows shows my image next to BJ’s image showing the same die markers.
