ADC-CA1C-1873-01 Newfoundland

This is a nice grade, 1873 Queen Vicotoria cent from Newfoundland that shows three sets of unabraded die clashes. This coin has been photographed and is presented to the site courtesy of Roger Paulen.

The white arrows are used to indicate the location of the clash marks.

Two sets of clash marks are easily seen in the photographs provided. The third set of clash marks fall on top of the second set of clash marks seen to the west on the reverse die.

The overlays provided show the relative position of the dies when they did clash.
