ADC-1c-1960D-82(SD): 3 events

This 1960D small date Lincoln cent appears to have underwent three clash events. One of the clashing of dies left the Memorial building roof clash mark protruding from the Lapel of Lincoln’s coat and through the first two digits of the date.

The reciprocal clash mark can be seen as a slanted line protruding from the Memorial building roof towards the AM of AMERICA.

Another clashing of the dies left the clash mark generated by the top of Lincoln’s head passing through the E of ONE and the CE of CENT.

The last of the three events occurs at the top of the reverse die. While the line generated by the bottom of Lincoln’s bust is not clearly seen, the small cleft like mark fro the fold in his coat is and is located between the TE of STATES.
