ADC-1c-1960D-72(SD), Stage “B” & “C”

 

This is a simple clash event found on a 1960D small date Lincoln cent that shows only on the reverse die. Notice that the clash event has some offset between the dies when they did clash.

The image below shows the clash mark from the lower left part of Lincoln’s bust.

This clash event can be recognized by the die crack seen in the right shoulder of Lincoln. The die crack appears in Stage “C”.

Stage “B”, shown in the image below, does not have the die crack.

A diagonal line can be seen in bays 7 and 8 in both stages. Stage “B” is below.
