On this 1946S Lincoln we seen a change in the surface characteristics on the die’s surfaces. Instead of a defined ridge showing the opposing face’s design, there is a notable absence of die flow lines, on the obverse we see the E from ONE and various parts of CENT while small parts of STATES AMERICA can be seen in front of Lincoln’s face. Similarly on the reverse, we seen a changed sheen showing the appearance of Lincoln’s portrait, near the right wheat 19 from the date can be seen.
