This is a nice, strong clashing of the dies found on a George Washington dollar coin.

The coin was provided to the site by Troy Watkins.

The base of Liberty’s crown can be seen just below Washington’s side-burnwhile Liberty’s arm pit can be seen crossing Washington’s left eye.

Liberty’s crown has developed three new spikes, all left by various clash marks from the obverse.

Washington’s eyes can be seen in Liberty’s arm pit and to the left of the 1 digit, while Washington’s right check can be seen as a clash mark above the dollar sign.

A small die break on Washington’s chin can be used to identify this die.
