ADC-100c-1976D-01

This 1976-D Eisenhower dollar shows a triple clash mark under Ike’s chin. The overlay compares the positions of the dies when they did clash.

The right top edge of the Liberty bell and the moon form the die clash marks seen under Ike’s chin. The spacing of the clashes is close, but the individual clashes are readily seen.

The moon clash is seen in the field just to the right of the back part of  Ike’s neck.

The clash mark left by Ike’s upper lip can be seen from the left bottom of the bar holding the Liberty bell.

This die can be identified by the die scratch in Ike’s ear.
