This 1999P Lincoln  cent shows two rotated clash events. Due to the slight offset that occurred between the events a counter die clash was created. The overlays show the relative position of the dies when they did clash during each event.

 

This coin is part of Joe Koelling's collection.


The image to the left shows the two clash events and the counter clash (indicated by the black arrow) which is a doubling of the line formed by Lincoln's forehead.
