This tilted die clearly shows the line formed by the bottom of the letters in AMERICA as the clash mark passes from the jacket through the mint mark and into the bottom of the 6 digit in the date.

 

The reverse die shows the clash mark left by the mint mark in between the M and E of AMERICA. Also seen are the clash marks left by the jacket edge and the first fold in the jacket.

Another separate clash event occurred causing the letters C and E of CENT to be clashed over Lincoln’s head.

 

The reverse die shows the clash mark left by the top of Lincoln’s head as it passes through the CE of CENT.

The third possible clash event occurred in the area below Lincoln’s bust. The top portion of the A in STATES can be seen protruding from the bottom of the bust.

A possible fourth clash event may have occurred leaving this clash mark which is produced by the line formed by the lower back of Lincoln’s bust.

This series of clashes can be identified by the die chip seen in the lower portion of the R in LIBERTY on the obverse die and the heavy die scratching seen through the word CENT on the reverse die.
